LBC Jetty

Sunday morning my brother in law and I headed out to the jetty at 6am we start working the lc low tide lots of bait fish in an hour or maybe less we already caught between 10 or 15 short hali then the tide was coming up and we change the lc for a 1/2 onz crock and it was game on whit the bonitas we caught 30+ between both of us whit some small calicos , spotty and even barracudas mixed alot of fish no quality but still fun to catch on light line

looks like both the spotty and the cali are pretty decently sized mustve been line pullers for sure!

Those are some good sized bass. I've never caught any bass that big from the jetty. I either get dinks or lizards LOL. Nice work on the bones too. Sounds like you guys were at the right place at the right time

Gonna venture up and down the coast saterday. can you tell me how to get to the jetty? I know my way to long beach, but that's about it

Just head down the 405 exit on 7th st make a left on park ave another left on ocean continue all the way and you can either park on the street or pay at the lot. It you do not have any luck and there with the bonitas head to the peir I heard they are also catching them there. You can see the peir from the jetty.

I went out there last saterday, but didn't know you needed quarters to park. had enough for an hour, barely any time to get my line wet. had 1 bit on a plastic. then had to leave.

Yeah i've only gone a couple times this month but people say its been off the hook there with the Bonies and Hali's almost for 3 week on a road on the low tide
