Short, sad story. Walked out on the jetty just before a monster high tide. Sun set and caught one dink calico. Small bites every half hour or so just enough to keep my hopes up but the thinning kelp, dirty water and a ceaseless breeze that was more than just an inconvenience had the bite completely shut down. Very disappointing. Might give it one more try but no expectations at this point.

That's how it goes out there. Some days great and others are dead. Good job putting in the work and keep at it there will be more good days.

That's how it goes sometimes. Some of my best fishing days are the ones where I decide to go out on a whim. And some of my worst were the days that I predicted conditions were going t be just right. Go figure. Good job beating the skunk
