Yet another float tube adventure in the LBC!

Tubed today with Jmericle for some decent Bass action in the LBC. I'm starting to figure this harbor out and it's quite productive.

Fish count: 8 Sand bass, biggest at 11"
4 Spotted Bay Bass, biggest at 15"

My 15" Spotted Bay Bass was caught on 4lb Izor XXX and homemade crappie jig wouldn't you believe it! lol

All in all it was a fun session except for seeing some brown finger painting on a wall left by a homeless resident. It said, "Poopy Pacaso" lol :P

Nice fish count IF2L. That last spottie looks nice and golden. Steer clear of poopy pacaso. Take it easy.

Nice spots! A crappie jig? If you had been using the Fool's, it would have been a 24 incher.

Brian, It was nice fishing with you again. Nice fish you have there. I wish I could have stayed longer, but when you have to go to work, you have to go to work!

Thanks! It was a beauty of a spottie. It had a sore on it's lower lip though (I didn't do it! lol). I hope it heals up. After I saw the piece of art, I bolted out of the that spot.

Hey, only small baits catch big fish! We went over this remember? lol I did throw the fools bait a little later in the day and caught a spottie.

Thanks Wingnut! It wasn't too shabby. I kept hooking the fish near the eyes which made removing the hooks tough considering that I forgot my pliers. I ended up leaing early to prevent further damage on the fish population.
