Turns out there actually is bass in El Dorado. Caught this on Bass Pro Shops XPS swimbait.

Nice one! I never got a bite at that lake. It seemed way too green and there were no signs of life when I fished it.

Yep that's typical el dorado. Pretty much no bass population in El Dorado nowadays because of poaching.

That's a great photo ! Don't care about the hands or the locals that will beef about giving up the spot in the back ground. That's a great photo,

The Park Nazis are a diminishing group. They did such a good job of intimidating people from posting bass pictures and reports, they put themselves right out of business. lol

Nice job on the rare catch, that is my favorite lure for "big" bass at high pressure city lakes.

As is the bass population, apparently.

Na there is plenty of bass in a lot of the park lakes. I talk to people all the time who catch them every day.

The bass population isnt decreasing, you guys just suck lol jk.

Seriously though, just keep trying different things.. Keep in mind that before you went, tons of big bass were probably caught hours before and are too stressed to eat.
