you can rent boats out there for like $60 for the full day.. that is what i do just get the cheapest boat called the fishing boat. you dont need a sonar to catch fish..

shore fishing there is hard i only did it one time much more fun from the boat!!

yeah you have to either give them a $100 that you get back at the end of the day or the use your credit card and put $100 on hold.. either way as long as you dont break the boat or hit ground with the prop then you get your money back..

they also make you pay to shore fish if you didnt know i think it is $7 for parking and $6 to fish per person

YES (!) Be first in line, bring bycycle, have jig rod loaded and cocked, peddle for your life as to beat BASS PRO out of marina and fire that bad boy off furest point into 40 feet of water then jig jig jig -jig your bootie Ha Ha - SLAM Bang Boom ,,, Be Advised; As soon as Bass Boy guns his 250 HP out of the marina the whole lake shuts down except the usual 2-4 # class fish!

Yes it's worth it.....

Watch out for the rattlers while exploring out there.

Jigs, robos fly lined on 8 # test , and LC's did for me several times.

Wind blown banks in the afternoons---- find them.

Fairly difficult terrain had my share of slips trips and falls down that bank but its sure fun to see that big monster creeping on your big bait with the clear water and all but that lake has sent me home stripped and bloody plenty of times plus theres no shade
