Newport Beach tube session 6/13/14

I met up with Jordan (Bobinator238) for the morning to tube Newport. Had advise to fish by the PCH bridge, which does not appear to have been the best place to launch. When we launched, it was like a screaming river and we had to kick hard to get around a corner. When we did get around the corner, it was very calm around the docks. I missed several bites before catching a few fish. As you read in Jordan's report, here is the picture of my personal worst fish or the smallest fish I have ever caught:

Then I caught a spottie and even though it is a short spottie, I love the picture.

I caught my fish both on the drop shot hawg seekers in Jack o' Lantern and Spicy Booger.

That must have been a fun session. I've been wanting to hit that area up. Maybe I'll do it the on my next NPH trip. Thanks again.
