DVL sat June 14

First time on DVL this year. Algae wasn't too bad once the wind blew. Had a hard time finding fish that wanted to bite. Marked a lot of fish at 20 feet at rawson cove but no takers. Went to the west end of the lake and finally found biters shallow at 10 feet in the shadows and at points and stick ups. Any plastic worm that was green or bluegill like colors... drop shot. We got nothing on the Texas rig. They wanted the bait 18 inches about the ground with the rod tip high. At perris I normally drag my drop shot..... Didn't work here. These little guys really fight hard compared to the ones at perris. Off the water at 130 pm. Only 14 fish for 2 guys.... The bite was at least constant once we figured out the pattern for the day. No fish worth taking pics of. Most small males. Still a fun day.

Forgot to add. No need for 4 pound test with the dirty water. I broke off a 3.5 pounder .... They where fine with 6 pound fluoro.
