Friday at Corona Del Mar/ NPH

Arrived at CDM/NPH a little late and hit the water at 8:15. Water was calm with just a small amount of salad. Slight wind blowing. I threw a Bomber Bluefish with no luck. Switched to frozen chovies and BAM! My first calico bass at CDM. few casts later..another calico. Then a sand bass and so on and so on.
Final Count:
2 Calico Bass
1 Sand Bass
3 Short Halibut
2 BIG Jack Smelt
1 Sting Ray.....
A fun day on the water and all this AFTER the full moon Thursday night!!

Hey icekrusher04, here are the steps to upload photos.

1. Upload photos into photobucket.
2. Once photos have been uploaded, click on the photo you wish to upload
3. On the right side of the page, next to the photo, there should be 4 URL's under "Links to share this page"
4. Click the URL next to IMG (no need to right-click and paste, simply clicking will copy the URL automatically)
5. Right-click and paste into the body of your thread, reply, etc.

It's that simple, hope this helps. Take it easy.

The full moon was on Friday night. I was out in Newport too and I lost a nice size halibut on a swim bait. ��

That sure is an impressive array of fish! I have never had any luck at Corona Del Mar. Glad to see it was productive for you.

Went again Last weekend and had VERY similar results. My best two days at CDM EVER!
