john a client from over the years wanted a day off from his car shop where he builds crazy rat-rods one of his buddy's was supposed to go but cancled at the last minute so it was john and me. while all the other boats hauled for the bouyline line we work cleghorn ,there was a lot of shad and fish moving around and striking the surface , got several strikes at the rigs but no hook ups . we cruised for a while and stopped a few times throwing swimbaits and topwaters but they we not fully wanting to attack so ,we moved on out the channel to the main body. as soon as we rounded the point going out of cleghorn it was on with the little guys spread aal over the place ,it was so active I told john we would toss fish until later because the real bite would start around 10.30 or 11 and we would see how good it would get.and sure enough it got turned on like a light switch.everywhere we trolled we were non stop getting hit, the most radical bite was in miller over a bunch of bait balls and with the water clear the schoolies were coming from everywhere. johnny was non stop laughing because they were hitting it fifty on the counter ,and many other depths most of the time he couldn't get it in the holder,we tossed probably close too 60fish or more. . thank you johnny for using my service yet again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,T/O,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
