Spotted bay bass and a 18"halibut in the LBC today

Met up with a buddy this morning at the LBC spot and found the fish I set out to catch. A halibut, which was 18" and a dink spotted bay bass, no measurement. Both were caught on a new unreleased color called greenback chovie hawg seeker.

It was great this morning as the tide was a little higher than usual. We saw birds diving and bait fish all over the water. Time for you guys to get out and fish the LBC.

Nice going! Good to hear about some bird and bait activity. Been a little scarce as of late.

Yup it's always cool when you get to your spot and see a lot of sea life,always gets the adrenalin pumping!

I like when you can see the muscle on the back side of the halibut.
