A day in the Bay 6/4/14

I had a really fun day today in the bay. The conditions were as horrible as anyone could ever hope for, low tide, no current, bright sunny day, and muddy water. BUT, I managed to catch the most fish and species I've ever had in all my tube trips.

I lost so many rigs to rocks and fish that I just stopped retying and left the fish biting lol. It's a first for me.

No real size to any of these fish but hey 22 fish in a single outing is nice too.

Fish count: 2 Scorpion fish
2 Grass Rockfish
13 Sand Bass (the second video shows the fish)
5 Calico Bass (the fish that has a checker board like coloration)
1 Spotted Bay bass (the fish that is full of spots)

Very cool IF2L,you were fishing in my wheelhouse,I love that bay,I'll leave it nameless although I'm sure everyone recognizes it :EyePop:in fact just bought $100,000 liability insurance they require for me to leave my 18' skiff there on an end tie. Way to go on the variety,that first scully looked like an earing, I've caught some nice butts in that bay,I'm sure you will also,take care bro,thanks!

Nice fish tally there IF2L! Love the video with the 2' rod...can't wait to see the footage when you hook a toad on that thing.:Wink: Careful putting your fingers too close to that rattler. That can ruin your day with one slip...been there, done that.:Rolls Eyes: Keep it up and looming forward to hearing more soon
