Fished with GhettoBasster for a few hours at NPH last Saturday for a decent bite on the bass. They were fincky as heck! I'm not used to crawling my lure literally 1" at a time.

Fish count: ME: 2 small sando bass, and lost a couple of spotties.

GhettoBasster: 2 spotties (13"), 3 sand bass

All in all it was pretty fun, but I don't think I'll be doing a shore session for a while.

man if only you guys went with me, haha. I exclusively toss 3" grubs and brush-hogs for spotties, and i nail em!

Nice job on the bass. Guess it's a little action than your used to on your tube, but makes for a nice change of pace once in a while. At least it's fishin.:Wink:

Lol IF2L, it was 4 spots and 1 baby sandie. It started a little slow (probably because the tide movement stopped at peak tide) then picked up when the harbor started to empty. Smoke, I'd love to learn from you. You know your way around they place. Bachi, it actually was much more relaxing than tubing; especially when I go with IF2L. He ways seems to have me kicking against the wind and the current lol. I'm getting too old for that.

I'd be down for it! I've never had too much faith in the grub but much more than BH.

lol tubing has spoiled me. If don't catch at least a double digit amount of bass I can't go home smiling. True, fishing is fishing. There was a lot less stuff to clean up after this trip. :LOL:

lol was it? It was too dark. I couldn't see what kind of bass you were getting. lol I don't try to anger the sea gods when we tube. They just decide to give us snotty winds and current whenever we fish. It's good exercise on the legs and let's not forget about the peeing issue.
