My Bro came into town for the weekend from Reno and he's just getting back into fishing. I offered to take him to Duct where he could catch some real fish (not woosy Trout) , but he had to be ready to go at 5am. He said he was in so armed with a 1 day non-res license and some basic instructions, we hit the Duct a little after gray light. (Was hoping for dark, but I hadn't bothered to check when the sun was rising.) It didn't take too long before he was hooked up on his first Striper. I think I may have been more excited than he was! Bro ended up with 4 for the trip and he's looking forward to doing it again next time he's in town. We caught 13 in all and only one of those on TW. We haven't fished together in a few years and catching fish made it all that much more fun.

Got up earlier today and got out to the Duct a little after 4am. Hooked up 3 on the Ghost Vision 110 clones at the first spot. Moved to the second spot just before gray light and switched to the top water and decided to break out the Silver Bullet again.

Haven't had much luck on TW lately so I was stoked when the first cast got blew up all the way in. Second cast i was hooked up and then it was on fire for awhile. Ended up with 6 on TW with one real close to 5lbs and another just shy of 4. Total of 11 for the morning and the bite shut down around 7:30.
