Hello, everyone.
It's been a while since I've checked in here. Hit up the summit valley section this evening. I alternated between a small soft shad swimbait and a silver fluke with a 1/4oz leadhead. Saw a very tiny fish following the fluke at one point...not sure what it was, though.
Water was barely flowing, wasn't too hot outside and wind was minimal. Stayed mostly at the gate but I did wander over to the first bend for a bit.
Met a kid named Daniel who threw a rapala crankbait and a pearl fluke for no love. Good to see someone else putting some time in here. Saw a few splashes right before I left, but couldn't identify the source. Carp, maybe? Skunked, yet again...
Gonna fish early tomorrow morning as well. Tips and pointers are appreciated... Hit me up if you wanna team up and figure these fish out.
