Saturday 5-24 Trout & Kittys Gone Wild Report w/ Pics

Short report
Get out there! Very good bite on Trout - Bass - Cats

Water Temp 70 and Gin Clear - Arrived 6:30am

Drifted crawlers early in 20 feet for 3 trout 1-2lbs in 30 and decided to move onto the Kittys.

Tossed Macs at 3 spots & was knocking hard and got no answers. Spent 1 hour each spot all spots 12 feet or less.
Looking for spawn rubbing there bellies in the grass :Cool: Not a Bump~

Arrived at spot 4 After a pep talk from Don Spencer and a few new ideas to try out. Got this fortune cookie last night. Could this be it?

Arrived at Spot 4 at noon, they were home and playing in 20-25. Got 9 in 54 minutes ran out of bait on Kitty 13. Was fast a furious!

Lost 3 Snapped Line! Sickest bite this old man has ever seen.

Kept 5 avg size for the fryer and released all the rest. Big for the day was just under 8.

Tons of Fun! Get out there. No need to wait for the opener!

I got massacred twice on 15lb test....bumping it up to 20-25lb after that experience. Pontoon got a nice fish today, I'm sure a picture of that will pop up soon enough :whistle:

There is no doubt I been bitten Pontoon. I would have never thought it was possible but the chance at a Giant keeps me coming back.
