The stone 5-24 2014

After three weeks of very slow fishing at the the stone, I finally caught something post worthy. I got 1 bite and 1 fish in the boat. A 6.3 lbs bass on a black blue jig with a black blue yum craw trailer. Pops skunked for the first time this month:Sad:, but he got 6 fish Wednesday at the dam. We'll try again next week.

Nice one that part of the lake has some big ones. I like the stone name and not the pudd. I should be called the old stone fisher.

Growing up, we called Bonelli. To this day a lot of people I know still call it Bonelli. Stone is better than pudd, but why not just simply puddingstone?

Us local. Boys that are out there everyday call it pudding puddle

If I remember correctly, it was named Bonelli Regional Park after Raging Waters went in. Even so, it's still always going to be Puddingstone.

I was there in early May. We were in the shallow area near the RV camp. I hooked into what had to be a huge cat. It ran while I tried to open the net. Went under the boat and the prop cut the line. I want to go back and settle that score.
