5/21nph arrrrrgh my groin!!

went fishing with my bro in law and dan "fishfrenzy" at balboa island. I'll upload my pics later.

we arrived late, toward the bottom of the tide, i had anticipated getting there when the water was higher..

while trying to take a short cut, i slipped and hit my groin, and had to lay on my back and yell ever bad word i could while kicking my legs.

managed a spottie at the last minute..

Yeah man, it was a decent spot.. Next time, Dan, i promise you'll get into some toads. We'll hit up the other spot, and all of us will get a fatty. I PROMISE. I'll prepare myself.


I kept getting distracted.. i swear to god I'm going through a second puberty or something, because i had to drop everything and say whats up to every woman that walked by.


haha.. I miss the other spot, actually. I have this little area that's absolutely brimming with massive black perch. Pretty sure i caught a major record breaker a couple o years back.. that thing was enormous!

It's weird though, i slip alot, but I always end up okay, in like the weirdest pose. I've yet to fall in the mud, but one time i took a nutshot from the mooring rope.

Some douche went blazing through the canal at like 15 mph, right when I had one leg over the rope, the wake blasted in, the boat went up, got me right in the fellers, and PICKED ME UP.

That hurt so much, i had to stop fishing for like 30 minutes, and try not to cry hahaha.
