Epic morning in the lbc 5/15/14

I was talked into fishing the LBC this morning by a friend. We talked last night and I had my doubts as the tide was really low this morning. He showed me a slightly different spot than our usual spot and DAMN he was right.

We met up at 5:45am this morning. I ended up catching and landing 6 fish with my largest being a 18" halibut. I caught a few sand bass and a lizard I used only ghost shrimp, red jam, and violet shad colored baits.

The pics were not the greatest due to the full sun glare, it was really hot so early this morning. Had to leave the fish biting to go to work :(
