It was my 1st time at Legg and it was a good trip.
After I was done with work in Montebello I decided to hit up the lake.
I parked on Rosemead and walked over to the water. It was very low and with the gradual grade I decided to hit the other lake.
Saw a few guys fishing with no luck. Cast a few times and had some small followers.
Moved down to another spot, felt a tick. Nothing
Saw a couple of guys throwing swimbaits, and both said no luck. Same for me on these next 3 spots.
On the 5th spot felt something, swing and a fish. Small 1lb but broke my skunk.
Hit another spot and landed 2 more both around 1.5-1.75 One was blind in one eye :EyePop:
Talked to another kid and he almost landed one, it got away as he reached down for it.
Moved yet a few more times around the water and scored a nice 6lbs :EyePop:
It was a good 4 hrs of fishing.
