Dynamic Duos (5/9/14)

Its been about a month since I have done any kind of bass fishing, so decided to fish Friday after work. For some reason, my typical guys were all busy! Looked to be a solo session until I convince the girlfriend to come out and play! This is rare as she is not too fond of the elements of wall banging through out the night. Selling point was suiting her up in one of my old snowboarding jacket.

She hasn't fished in well over 6 month so she was excited as I was! Got to the ramp around 830 and made our way out. Fished the inside hard, throwing dark 5" swimbaits on 3/4oz heads. I started the night off with a nice calico while she ended it with a nice sand bass! Slow night as we landed roughly 20 bass, most in the 2lb range. Till next time!

Bass fishing in the dark by the rocks, that's my kind of night :Thumbs Up: You should try using a dark rattling bass jig with a craw trailer. seems to catch bigger fish for me than the swim baits or stick baits. although a 5" swim bait does hedge your bet some. Great job getting the girl out there and on some nice fish.:Applause:
