It was a tough day on Saturday for bass. Launched a little before 7:00am at the back of Boat Dock Cove. Fished the West Shore with a squarebill, a-rig, and a spinnerbait. Kicked across the lake and fished Rocky Point with a D/S. Then kicked across to Trout Island for a stop at The Fence. Picked up one on a D/S. Then fished way back to launch ramp. Got one more fish near the dock. Called it a day at 12:00. A month ago my buddy and I were having 20+ fish days. A case of Post Spawn Lock Jaw is my guess? Saw several bass boats on the lake, they seemed to be leaving around the same time. Going back in a few weeks and see if things improve.
