AV my love...PB 2014

It has been very tough fishing at AV since the new year. flow schedule has been unpredictable, slow flows, no flow and I have been fishing 3-4 nights per week and most of the trips were skunk. However, each bite, each hook were worth it and rewarded a nice pigs hahaha....

Landed my pb 16 pounder last night . It bit on the fall on my second dropped about 3-5 feet in front where I stood. drag peel hard and fast I could not have time to lock the reel...my thumb was burning...30 second later I was able to lock the reel and the fight just started to begin. it went under the BL...lower my rod and fought...hahaha....landed her in 5-7 minutes and she was my PB.

Could not find momma but it found the cousin last night...hahaha

Cont. My dd streak, caught this solid dd (13#) little passed midnight last nite. This one was a fighter little bit strongger then the last16 pounder...landed her in 10 minutes.

I fished down there last night on the west side.
Extremely windy, but that didn't bother me.

Been a while I have a chance to hit duct again. Did vampire run with Khanh (KPN) last night. Super full moon, light wind and the flow was great last night. No bite at the first two spots so we move to the next one. Cast out to the BL and started slowly retrieve. Got a big bump about 5 feet from the bank. She made some runs but not that strong like those I caught a couple of months ago.

Land her at 12 lbs 3 oz on Khanh's digit scale. lost one good size catfish. it made a last turn and gone. K got good size catfish and lost one stripy.

KPN lure did a damage again.

Another DDz to my 2014 list. Fish late last Friday with Khanh. There were not much actions for a first few spots but the bite picked up late when we moved further. Khanh caught a first one.
We moved to another spots. I got a big bite in the middle of the water flow. It took a drag out of far. It is a DD one weight 10 lbs 7 oz (on Khanh's digi scale). Khanh caught another good size one at the last spot.

The bad thing was I slipped and fell in the water while trying to net a fish hahaha...pushed me almost to the middle...hahaha...but I was able to swim in at the edge. freezing...cold...... (so please be very careful out there guys especially with this cold weather)

Good thing about falling in the AV is you could always stand up and reach both sides
