Hermosa pier fishing 4/23

Sorry for the late report.
So my gf and I hit hermosa pier at 3pm winds were about 2-5mph. Nice beautiful day. Fish started coming in at about 6pm. From there non stop biting.

125 mackerels
6 sardines
2 barred surfperch
1 walleyed perch

Saw some huge sardines from San Pedro bait (frozen). Yours look pretty big ? Were the Dines huge ?

Those are superior to sardines as bait, IMO. Great tasting too.

I ate some of it lol. Yes the rest are saved for catfish :) it was super fun! Non stop action!
