Pudd 4/24

Went out to the pudd yesterday, literally all day. Best way to spend a day off is on the lake no matter what results.
Threw a lipless, dropshot, jig and a fly trying for the bass and the alluding gills.
Water is gradually clearing, but murks up after the day time wind. Fry seemed to be everywhere, and birds were picking them up along with shad.
Hooked up with a bass on the drop shot, but lost it. Then got one later in the day, redemption.

thanks for report...personally i prefer the lake on the murky side...so hope some of it stays..looking forward to a good early summer bite.
