Iv come to believe that the cement river owns more booboo,s and blood then any other body of water that the is fished around here <CAL,


In the 37 or so yrs that iv been fishing it iv had many MANY encounters with everything from bandages to stitches to crutches as a result of being in the same proximity to the cement river,,ie THE DUCT or the canals just off the duct.

Catchinbait when he did this.

I remember gatbloods was just as bad and he cut the barb at the skin to have the hook work its way out a year later(point forward)

FTS did it and ripped the hook from the skin backward.

So far I'm OK at the duct. I've got my fingers crossed.

Scott, Not long after you got both knees, I was up there fishing and saw a place where someone slid from the fence to the rocks in the orange gravel 15 or 20 ft. I wondered if it was where you skinned your knees.

Actually I was by myself July 5, 2013 walking along the bank and casting, watching the water tripped, heard the loud crack, internally. Tried to get up with massive pain in the right shoulder. Finally rolled up on my left side and was able to get up, but when I tried to raise up my right arm it dislocated out of the shoulder. Laid back down and tanned awhile until the wave of nausea and passing out feeling went away.
