Been fishing silverwood as often as I can, mostly getting skunked but here are some decent fish from March through April

This striper weighed 17 pounds, not bad for how crappy the striper bite has been. Unless u fish for 1 pound schoolies, heard those are biting

Bass bite has been decent, especially by dam area or some parts of marina

Hope the bite gets as good as Castaic or diamond valley soon so I don't have to drive far anymore lol.

Nice fish!

Any topwater fish, schoolies or otherwise lately? Still too cold for those? Itching to make a dusk/dawn topwater run, my favorite

Gave the super spook a shot and no luck. I usually do good on top water when the water warms up and the glass minnows start coming up around the shore
