RIP Fred Vecht

A dear fishing friend, Fred Vecht, passed away yesterday after a long battle with stage 4 lung cancer. His daughter told me he was comfortable and peaceful at home surrounded by most of his family and, of course, his dogs. I've enjoyed many days on the water with Fred and will miss him dearly. He was a true gentleman - kind, generous, and loved to fish. Rest in Peace my friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends.

Tough news...................hate to hear when we lose one of the good guys. Fisherman, family man, dog lover.............just my kind of guy!!!!!!! Darn Fred, probably tying on a slider Swimmer and doing battle somewhere behind those pearly gates right NOW feeling sorry for us stuck down here................ and he is surrounded by dogs.
