Haven't been up the hill for a few weekends but had been getting skunks or dinks during late winter.

Sunday I was able to drive up the hill mid-morning. Dropped the tube into Mallard Bay to avoid the strong winds - picked up 3 LMBs over a couple hours. All hit on a spinner - must have hit 'em on the head and pissed 'em off. Nothing over 2lbs. Tried senkos and jigs but didn't get any hits. Also tried to find some crappie on the fly, but nothing was hitting.

Took a break and moved to the Pine Knot jetty rocks. Chatted with Dan on the rocks for a while but wasn't able to pick up any bass there. Started working my way off the water and decided to tease a texas rigged worm around some of the docks. Hit a beautiful 3lb 1oz LMB (second pic below). Soft hit and only a mild fight, but I'd classify it as a pig for BBL

Worked those docks for a while longer, but no more bites.

Cheers,

Eric

Nice fish Eric. The 3 lber. is sweet, gooood fish for The Bear. Surprised I didn't see you Sunday, I was over at PK from 8:30-11:30. Must have just missed you. We hit Windy Point early. Picked up a couple there and three more over at PK. Ours were on 7" power worms and Havoc Pit Boss.

See you soon,

Bill
