Not my report but i thought id share fishing report on BD. Fellow angler caught a 42" flattie from the surf! whats the biggest halibut caught from the surf? i thought my 34" was big but this thing is just monsterous.

:EyePop:Wow that is awesome. Hey he said he was catching perch with a kastmaster? Is he referring to the trout lure? Ive never heard anybody getting surf perch with that method. Again amazing fish:EyePop:

yes kast masters are great for surf perch and croaker the blue chrome and silver work fine throw the 1/8 oz or the 1/4 oz

What a magnificent 42" Halibut! :Envious:

On one side of the coin .... with that red tail, she was the most beautiful breeder Ive ever seen from the surf,
and on the other side of the coin ...
that's also 50K eggs that won't be available in re-populating her species ... :Sad:

Hence my rational for CPR.
