This past Sunday I hit up the Doc with my bro. I haven't been able to fish for over a month due to school and other things. Arrived at the beach around 7am fished until 11:30.
Conditions
Water: Silty with some clear spots in between
Waves:1-2 foot swells
Weather:Overcast
Tackle LC and Gulp grubs

First fish of the day 19 incher hali on the LC(almost there to my first legal )
I wasn't have much luck in the surf so started to fish on one of the jetties with a gulp grub.

Caught 3 small sand bass. Near the end of my session I hooked up to a much larger sandbass but I was standing to far from the edge of jetty.So I was unable to keep the sandbass from snaring me up on the rocks :roll: Man those guys put up a pretty decent fight. Great session overall hopefully next time I will finally catch that legal butt :lol:
