Only smiling in a few of those pics! Come on guys I know you think it is fun! I was thinking of bringing my bow out to the river this summer. I won't have that sweet shooting deck, but it should work.

Awesome! My son and I have tried the canals in town off I 95. Fish are easily spooked though and tough to hit. Nice job.

there is no season for bowfishing currently big bear and lake elsinore are the only lakes i know of that allow bowfishing and im pretty sure they only allow carp to be shot....on the colorado river you can shoot carp, talapia, shad, and mullet... no limits on any of the fish

yeah it was crazy we came up to a school of them with about 50-60 5+ pounders first time i've seen this on the river we ended up with 11 biggest being 7lbs 8oz
now we have gizzard shad on the river these shad can grow to 7 plus inches long they are truly the ninjas of the river super difficult to stick

FYI you can also shoot Henshaw, Isabella, Cachuma, Clear Lake, and a number of other San Diego lakes as well as a bunch of Nor Cal areas too. All carp though.
