went out fishing the goleta surf after work last wednesday, was blessed by the fish gods.

i had a little trouble getting both the fish and me in the pic.

it was released.

Hey that's ok and a nice one from the surf. I use to surf fish in the Laguna area a lot 40 years ago off the rocks just south of the Aliso beach pier. The pier was removed in 1998 due to storm damage I miss it because the pier and rocks were good for opal eye using peas for bait. Thanks for your post and pic.
