Now that grunion season is going I want to take my girls out to get some like my parents had done when I was a kid. Problem is I don't know what beaches to check out or what are good beaches for the runs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I am in Orange County so if any of our beaches are good I would prefer that.

x2 as my kids would get a kick out of a grunion run. I'm in Ventura County... if anyone has any beach suggestions, that'd be great!

Yeah, I've read all of that already... I usually find it more helpful hearing from someone's first hand experience.

When I was young, we always went to Salt Creek Beach in Orange County.
Haven't done it in years, though.
Good luck and hope the kids enjoy it.
