Formica brand contact cement or DAP Weldwood Contact Cement is the best. 3M Super 90 Spray Adhesive works well if in a pinch.

I saw some contact cement but dont remember the name..I did buy a can of 3M spray adhesive (green can) but not sure if it's 'tacky' enough...the main area I need to reglue is about 18 inches inside the bow..

3M Super 90 is in a green can and is a "Contact Type Adhesive". If that is what you bought you should be good to go, follow instructions and don't use it sparingly.

I've used the 3M and in high heat it started to fail. I'd stick with the contact cement or even gorilla glue.

3M 77 will fail in high heat. 3M 90 is the product to use for bonding synthetic materials (polyolefin carpet to metal or plastics). I worked for over 20 years for an International Corporation that among other things was a 3M Master Distributor of their products. 3M 90 is an aerosol contact cement.
