Got there about 7p.m. fished till 8:30 it felt like i was fishing mid June not March...warm weather, shad all along the shoreline but still no reaction strikes...fished an ika after dark and got 2 bass...still could not make out if any bass spawning but seems to me lake is in an early summer patterns now. p.s. talked to Don the Warden and showed me pix of some guy who nailed a 12lb. today at a city park lake..he would not tell me where..but fish was a beauty!

lol! i actually snagged a couple shad they were so thick...they were about the size of my 1/2 ounce trap and 1/4 ounce spinner
