I'm almost sure the answer is no but I'd figure I'd ask anyways. I have a couple nice size trout that have been sitting in my freezer for a couple months. My question is would I be able to take them out to the lake and use them for catfish bait? I'd sure hate to waste them. Thanks for any info.

No you can not use Trout for bait. It is against a state law. Even though we are a private lake it is still illegal to use trout for bait.

Thanks guys! Glad I found out before I got myself in trouble. I guess that will teach me to throw them on the BBQ quicker next time.
