Raffle tickets for a really neat rod, a Swifty's line un-winder, some Owner Mosquito hooks at 30% off. Couple packs of Power Worms. Truline rods still too pricey, saw some neat rigged duckbill pliers I should have bought, even at $34 the pair. Ran into some friends, caught up on some BS-ing. Beer too expensive to think about. First time I haven't bought a knot at the knot-tying contest. Overall not the best show, but not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Might have to see what Del Mar has this year.

24oz Beer for $11, some BH plastics, hat, not much really. No deals on lead heads to be found.
I did park for free for the fifth year in a row near the 'Sky Room'

Knife and tool sharpener, solar panel to charge phone(s) while in the boat, some custom tied baits, weights, jerky at a dollar a pop at the end of the show (sometimes it pays off working a booth, bad part is now I have to deliver the booth to the lake), baits other stuff to try out, rod reel combo, tackle bag/box, phew have to catch my breath.

I looked for some nice soft tipped poles with good backbone but if they were there, i didn't find them.

I also picked up 2 Californian Bait Feeder Reel from Turners for Striper Mike.

So I came home with my cash in hand.

Saved my ducats and went fishing instead.

Nowadays, you can find better deals on line. It's not like the Fred Hall is icast, where you can check out brand new products.

Wish these brick and mortar shops paid notice and evolved to the changing market.
