Hey I always agree with you on everything Hook.... but can't on this one. I shot this video at 10:30 a.m. The truck didn't arrive until 2.
Any time I show fish caught on stocking days, it is always well before the truck gets there. Because as soon as the truck
leaves, I need to beat feet, get home and start editing.
As far as the Truck Chasers go, I never see many of them. We normally stock on Wednesday's but I don't think that's why the anglers are there on
Wednesday's. Very few gather around the stocking area and Daniela and staff always keep them at a distance while the stocking is going on.
There are different theories on just how long it takes for stocked fish to start biting. I have never seen anyone catch fish around the stocking
area right away. Some anglers say it takes a couple of hours; others say days. I don't know. But I do know the fishing is excellent on the
West Shore right now. Lots of Yosemite Reds being caught. The tubers and boaters are getting them there as well as the Rocky Clay Cliff's area.
