Finished up opening day for T-ball with the kids, just so happens that the local park by the ball field had a lake. I promised the kids I would let them climb some trees and go fishing. We fished this lake last week and the place was dead, not even one bite, but today was a different story. The weather was great, feels like summer time already, but it's felt like that all winter. I'm very surprised not to see many more posts with all this great weather we've had this winter, same for me though, just working my butt off all the time,and no time to fish. Anyways fishing was hot today , fish were biting at everything we threw at them. My boy even hooked up with this fat winter cat with 6 inch long whiskers. We named him, "CAT-MAN-CHU", he was my son's biggest catfish caught to date. Man you need to trim those things.

We also landed five fat carp that battled tested these kids forearms and fortitude, there saying my arms are burning dad and can't do it, and I'm barking orders at them, like the good drill sergeant, " Don't give up ,you can do it." These beasts fight like a run away train. They listened and were rewarded with some fat fish.Battle scene.

Bicep curling carp, it's a huge sport in Europe.

The kids even let the old man get in on some of the action.
