I hit the surf yesterday for a couple of hours, when I was done with my work, and managed one short halibut.
The holes that were present last week, have filled in...
I did manage one shorty though,

Look at the bait it spit up, pretty good match...:Big Grin:
Have a good weekend and God Bless,
Robert

Really strange how all the structures are shifting at some of the A.O.'s :Surprised:
I haven't been fishing much, but most of the intel I'm getting is that the the layout of the beach is drastically different in a lot of areas.
Hopefully, everything will settle and we will have a great Spring bite. :Big Grin:
Good luck this afternoon!

The one I caught last week coughed up something in the skinny, not sure what it was. More worried about getting em on the sand.

Hit the beaches this morning with G-Mart for some Trash fish, aka Big Smelt and BSP. Nothing else but a TON of EYE:Shocked: Candy. Almost forgot we were fishing. Love this place.

Good to see you sharing the water with us Robert, even if its miles and miles apart.

Yeah I got a short butt at Cabrillo beach that spit up a whole bunch of white fish parts he smacked a drop shot White Ice fluke.
Also got a pretty nice Sculpin. Lost one right at the drop off that felt like a legal but never got to see him.
Saw tons of sand crab molts along the beach they where everywhere.

Nice going with the skunk buster Robert. It's pretty amazing how the structure keeps shifting over the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately it hasn't always been for the better. Hopefully things wil shape up nicely for a great spring bite...maybe after next week's storm? Looking forward to hearing more from you soon!
