Hit the A.O. from 5PM TO 7PM throwing the LC 110 FMinnow.
65 Degrees
15 lb Braid
8 lb mono
Looking forward to the next trip.
Full Moon, waves crashing on the beach, a beautiful evening to be out. I haven't learned to catch Halibut yet, but I'm getting real good at catching the reef:EyePop: I'm most proud that I didn't loose Roberts LC though.
New forceps arrived from Sierra Trading Post. One curved one straight, 8 inch.

I think you've learned how to catch a halibut already, now it's just a matter of right time and cast. Keep it up!

I was scouting some more beach to the south. I think I found a good spot. I'll be checking it out soon.

Thanks for the encouragement Arthur. I'll keep at it. I've had a break for a few days taking care of chores, but looking forward to my next day in the surf. I attended a halibut lecture today at Turner's, good in a couple ways. I got some good tips and won one of the 7' california rods, 12-30 life time guarantee. Looked like fuji guides
