been wonder if any one has caught some bass there since I mostly go there for cats n trout

The last time I caught a bass in there was last year. It was when I was trout fishing. I hardly ever see any come out of there and if I do I see people take them home. I remember seeing big bass in the back lake but haven't seen them in a long time.

back lake has some good luck tho, front lake haven't seen any catches. And indeed ppl take them home when caught

A couple years ago, there were some teenagers that dumped an ice box full of young bass they caught at nearby Fairmount, into the main lake. Must have been 10-12 fish in there. I don't think there is much natural food in the big lake for a number of Largemouths to survive.. that's probably why they take trout baits and lures..
