Catfish setup

I'm going to start getting some gear together for the summer. What size spinning rod & reel, line, and hooks do you recommend for catfish? I'm going to be fishing mainly for stocked cats in the pay lakes and county parks in Riverside/San Bernardino.

i use 6-10 pound line on my spinning rods(line holds up well, make sure drag is set)
medium action rod
2/0-3/0 hook

for city parks i like to use 4-6lb line and some size 1 - 1/0 hooks, for pay lakes like corona or irvine i always have minimum 10lb line and hooks no smaller then 4/0 just all personal preference, rods i stick to good ol ugly sticks in medium and reels 2500 is good for me good luck out there
