How are the lakes and reservoirs doing in this drought year?

I remember lake san antonio was way down, how is it now?

Anyone have pictures of lakes that are drying up? Would be interested to see how we are being affected...

Use Google earth to fly over the Sierras. Check out South, Sabrina and Edison lakes. If winter is as cold as it is dry, what's left those lakes will freeze solid. That doesn't bode well for any fish left in the water. Though drained by Edison for other "needs", they probably won't get the runoff needed to put much water back into them for a year or more.

Just came back from San Jose yesterday, driving on the 152 East, saw that San Luis Reservoir is horribly low. Islands popping up everywhere, the high water marks on the hill look to be hundreds of feet from where the water is now. O'Neill Forebay right next to San Luis Res is faring better but still looks pretty low. Sorry no pics because I was driving, the 152 is the last highway you want to be messing with a cellphone.
