Any Kung Fu fans from the 70's ? It is my all time favorite TV show.
Watched one today for the first time in decades, this is a great episode.
Has a young Gary Busey at the beginning and the old indian from Josey Wales.
Even has Grandpa from the Waltons as the judge.

Loved the show! But think I'd have a hard time watching it now after knowing how Kwai Chang Caine eventually met his demise in real life.

You know what they say Seal.
" He died doing what he loved "

All the shows are on YouTube. Much Life Wisdom Can Be Obtained By Watching Kung Fu.
There is really not much martial arts in the show, 1 - 3 minutes per show.
The Grasshopper flashbacks to China are the best. :Thumbs Up:
DVD sets on Ebay too. Probably to slow for young texting people to relate to these days ?

The show teaches great patience which is a critical element to being a bait fisherman. I think that patience is disappearing in todays society ? Possibly related to the big upswing in fishermen that only toss lures these days ? Just a theory. This opening scene in the pilot is all about patience.

At the height of his popularity in Kung Fu, in 1974, David Carradine was arrested again, this time for attempted burglary and malicious mischief. While under the influence of peyote, Carradine, nude:Shocked:, began wandering around his Laurel Canyon neighborhood. He broke into a neighbor's home, breaking a window and cutting his arm. He then bled all over the homeowner's piano. At some time during this episode he accosted two young women, allegedly assaulting one while asking, or demanding of her, if she was a witch. The police literally followed a trail of blood to his home. The burglary charges were dropped, as nothing was found to be missing, while Carradine pleaded "no contest" to the mischief charge and was given probation. He was never charged with assault, but the young woman sued him for $1.1 million and was awarded $20,000

X2 Tucker. I'd never go Billy Jack on someone though. I'm more of a Buford Pusser type.
