6.30am arrival to the SAMO Coast, to mild temp.waters 2-3ft. waves, no

weed or current problems. Lots of walking and casting back and forth,

up and down the stretch I was fishing with the LC for nothing for about

two hours !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif Then switched to the 3in. Watermelon Gulp Minnow

on a 1/4oz. jig head . First cast with the Minnow in the exact same spot I

was previously throwing the LC to ,"SLAMO" http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif on the drop !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

This Halibut is a two for two catch, being last time I was at this

spot, caught one to !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Crazy thing also is caught this perch to, in same spot, then quit fishing by

11am cuz have to go to dentist .

Nice little bonus catch there Daniel. Great colors in that sunrise photo, maybe due the recent fires? It was pretty ugly when I was looking down on the brown haze layering the horizon as I was mtn biking today.
Guess it makes for great photo opts at sunup and sundown though, eh?
