Quick KH trip 1/18/14

I did a quick little foot session before dinner at one of the local resturants.

The results: one fiesty Calico bass that ate a 1/16oz darter

I missed another bite and saw a massive school of fish to be what I believe were Aji (Spanish Mackerel).

This is totally unrelated, but I felt like sharing. I was buying a bento at my local Japanese market and saw this spiny lobster for sale. I believe it's a Caribbean species.

Thanks Don. Yeah I suppose it's not too cheap considering that it may have been yesterday's fresh bento option! lol I bought a Uni-don from there once and was disappointed as heck! Cheap saba or chicken bentos for me only!

Landed a few about that size at JCS when casting for Bones over the years. Usually happens by accident just before lifting the LC or Kastmaster close to the rocks.

small calico action is better than no calico action. I have had those bentos before and they are tasty for being yesterday's "fresh" option. Thanks for the report and keep 'em coming.

True! It was pretty sweet to get a fish before dinner. Yeah those bentos can be good. I guess it's like a game of cards with that stuff.
