I picked up a used kayak and
set it up as cheap as possible with a bucket, aerator and my leg for
the rod holder  . hit up cabrillo, launched and paddled out to the
barge for a five dollar scoop and kept going. it wasnt long after that
the fun started. ended up with three legal halibut all about the same
size.

One flopped off the deck, one I let go, and one that I brought home
at 26''. caught everything on a 5'' basstrix plastic includeing a couple
bass. thanks for the kayak onthefly, I'll put it to good use :D

Damn Ron,

Let's see a boat for the breakwall and lakes, a tube for the same and now a you're a yakker. I guess the next logical choice would be diving?

Great job on the legals.

Are the harbor patrol and Coast Guard nicer to yakkers? Maybe they are nicer to you if you aren't with Lokey, huh? j/k

question for me, not sure I want to see what's down there

Ive been about three quarters of that distance on my tube, it can take
fourty five minute's to get out and longer getting in ( check the tide's )

Dont get caught in the wind, if you do you'll be getting out of the water
somewhere in Long Beach.
