S.W.A.T. Guy Gets 2 more legals

Sat Jan. 11, 2014

I arrived at 0600 hrs and had an unplanned meet up with Kelly in the parking lot. Kelly had the hot stick today with 3 legals.
When I got to the water ... Ken was already there with his friend Jay.
Later on in the morning Robert, Peter, Rainy and his brother arrived to join in. Halibut were had by all!

I beached (3) short halibut and (2) legal Halibut today .... a 24" and a 26 1/2", my new PB for this 2014 Season
My 3rd legal I had on the edge of the sand and it unbuttoned at my feet .... oh well! :)

Absolutely awesome Danimal! I was really happy to hear that there were legals to go around! The shocker was to hear that Robert was able to make it out there. He and I had talked yesterday and he said that he was gonna try. Glad he made it and that there was fun to be had by all.:Wink: I'm guessing that you're gonna have another go at it tomorrow. Best of luck to you and the crew. I was thinking of joining in for another round but I am wiped out and I need to get some work done before Monday. Go get em brotha and congrats on another two legals for the leaderboard!

Yes ... it was good to see Robert there on Saturday. We all had a good time! :Big Grin:

Hit it again on Sunday and managed a 20" short and had another legal unbutton on the beach.
I tried to stop it's retrieval with my feet but it managed to escape my corralling efforts! :LOL: So close!

Brotha Ken was able to put another legal on the beach this day. :Big Grin:
