First Session on 2014 IRVINE Lake 1/4/2014

Hello All,

Hit the VINE for the first fresh water session of the year and like always the vine didnt dissapoint!!!

Launched at 645
First one in at 730am on pink/white micetail, 4lbs test, size8 mosquito hook, Sonora 1500, noticed also that micetail only get hit in the am atleast for me it only happens like that....
2nd 3rd 4th all came on power bait.....2500 sonora, daiwa 6-6 rod
Kept trying for the liimit but wasnt happening....out of the water at 345....Awesome day, perfect weather!!!

Also met BigDaddy from Team57 at the cleaning station, it was great to meet you!
A nice lady that came to the cleaning station caught one fish and she ended up giving to me! Props to her! :Big Grin: forgot her name, sorry!

Thanks!!! and I was carolina rigged on the micetail, on 8 mosquito red hook, 4lb test, 1500 sonora reel, split shot 14 inches above hook and just bouncing and dragging across the bottom....
